This is a new type of low-carbon heating that uses electricity instead of gas making them much more environmentally friendly. This cuts down your home’s CO2 emissions and improves local air quality. It works by extracting heat from the air outside and bringing it into the home using electricity.
Heat pumps are affordable thanks to 0% VAT, plus government grants of £5,000 in England and Wales.
Some properties won't have the right space, access or surroundings to install a heat pump - but we offer a free home survey that will tell you if your home is suitable.
